It's a Man's Man's Man's World" is a song by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome. Brown recorded it on February 16, 1966 in a New York City studio and released it as a single later that year. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard R&B chart and No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its title is a word play on the 1963 comedy film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
Brown also dips his toe into quiet storm on "Kiss in 77," a move that bolsters the suspicion that he was following the winds of fashion of the time. But he could still pull a rabbit out of his hat on occasion, as on "It's Too Funky in Here," one of his few disco singles that has the grit, groove, and passion of his best funk, a difference so notable it's not a surprise that it became his first genuine disco hit.
the ballad "Kiss in '77" reaching the Top 20. After 1976's "Bodyheat", he also failed to appear on the Billboard Hot 100. As a result, Brown's concert attendance began dropping and his reported disputes with the IRS caused his business empire to collapse. Brown continued making recordings. In 1993 his album Universal James was released. It included his final Billboard charting single, "Can't Get Any Harder", which peaked at No. 76 on the US R&B chart and reached No. 59 on the UK chart. Its brief charting in the UK was probably due to the success of a remixed version of "I Feel Good" featuring Dakeyne.

What makes a man feel he's began to fail? And when he can't win he thinks he even can't tell me. (A woman) Say it again (A woman) Say it again (A woman) I ask you. What makes a man jealous of each other? So tacturned against his brother, now here's the reason She makes a cloudy day seem bright She makes a nightmare turn into the warmest night
