While Pennsylvania teenage rockers Sound the Alarm look like they would opt for the latest Incubus release over any Nine Days record, their music tells a different story. And that’s good; real good. Because on their debut album Stay Inside, the fellows from Eastern PA bring back the good old days of one hit wonder pop rock in the most flattering way possible. Songs like Suffocating, Closer, Fact or Fiction, and Picture Perfect are supposed to turn up on a modern rock radio station near you this summer. Stay Inside, possibly the album’s best track, combines everything modern pop rock.

Boy, if you step outside You'll never make it The world could be a bitter place sometimes It's better just stay inside. A case of hard facts and no one knows Not a damn thing can be exposed In this world of ours where we're living in hope Despair is where we keep our wishes. Not alone or afraid, but afraid to recite The words you hear and the wrongs you right The world is ours but we're only in charge Of our lives and how we live them. Boy, if you step outside You'll never make it The world could be a bitter place sometimes It's better just stay inside
Sound the Alarm is the third full-length album by American singer-songwriter Howie Day, and the follow-up to his million-selling second album Stop All the World Now. It was recorded over a three-year period, during which he attended a rehabilitation center for alcohol abuse. The album was originally set for release in 2008 before being delayed and eventually released by Epic Records on September 8, 2009. In late 2008, Day uploaded the song "Everyone Loves to Love a Lie" onto his MySpace page
Sound the Alarm doesn't pretend to be anything more than a passel of kids who just want to rock out, and their debut album reflects this. These are simple, earnest emo tracks with addictive, if predictable, hooks; it's by no means groundbreaking, but it's satisfying much in the way a sugary, super-caffeinated soft drink can be satisfying.
Album Saints & Sinners. Sound the Alarm Lyrics. Sound the alarm) (Sound the alarm). I'd like to see you naked Strip down and show me who you really are I want your secrets and band aids Never mind the tattoos covering your heart. Oh and it makes no difference. All eyes are set upon you A choice move follow forward your path Place your on a virtue There's a chance there's nothing following that. When you speak just speak directly What you want just point it out When you come just come correctly There's no time that's running out. Why don't we run from the edge there's no one stopping us now Makes no difference Oh and it makes no difference.
