Drama: You're My Destiny. There were some changes in the drama's storyline which made it more interesting, I think they didn't want the viewers to feel they were watching the same drama as the other two but it has a combination of both the Taiwanese and Korean version while having its own unique storyline DISCLAIMER: I have never seen the other versions of You're My Destiny. The acting, direcing, writing, sets, costumes- all stunning. We finally got a few REAL kiss scenes from Bie (who's a great kisser) and Esther (who's a good kisser compared to just about every other Thai actress).
Maggie May" remains the biggest mondolin-based hit ever recorded, although the theme music for The Godfather, released the following year, may be more recognized. Every Picture Tells A Story was Stewart's third solo album, and the one that made him a superstar. Maggie May ('May' is sometimes spelt 'Mae') is a traditional British song from Liverpool. It's not to be confused with the also excellent, but very different, Rod Stewart hit of the same name. The lyrics tell the familiar tale of a prostitute who steals a gullible sailor's possessions (see Barrack Street for a similar tale). In Maggie May, however, the prostitute gets her come-uppace - she is transported to Australia, which of course, used to be a British penal colony. Famously, you can hear a short burst of them performing 'Maggie May' on the last album they released, 'Let it Be'. The song reputedly remained a favourite of John Lennon's until his death in 1980. I asked her where they were, and she answered, "My dear sir, They're down in Kelly's knock-shop, number nine. Oh dirty Maggie May, they've taken her away; And she’ll never walk down Lime Street any more.
