The discography of John Paul Young consists of nine studio albums, nine compilation album, one EPs and 36 singles. A. "Pasadena" was originally released in 1972 as a non-album single. A new version was recorded for the LP Album Hero in November 1975. B. "Love Is in the Air" was originally released in Europe in December 1977 and in Australia in April 1978. It was re-recorded and released as the Strictly Ballroom mix for the Baz Luhrmann film. It was re-mixed as Milk & Sugar vs. JPY in 2001.

Five tracks were co-written by John and Warren Morgan. The next single, "Here We Go" was released in April at the start of a three month national tour. The song All Hell Broke Loose, which John Paul Young co-wrote with Angry Anderson and Warren 'Pig' Morgan, was recorded and released by Rose Tattoo for their 1998 national tour, and in 2000 John appeared in a quirky Kraft Foods TV commercial which used Yesterday's Hero.
Three years after releasing his post-Civil Wars solo debut, John Paul White has announced details of his next solo album, The Hurting Kind, which will be released April 12th on White’s Single Lock Records.
