Glow Wall, CU2. Related Tags. The Via Maris formed in 2005 around the songs of Chad Sundin, a singer/songwriter from Phoenix, AZ. The Via Maris released their debut album in 2007 on Perfect Circle Records, a local Arizona label. The songs make their home in the broad category of American folk music and draw deeply from the resources of traditional American music as well as from the innovations of the indie-folk movement.
