Bobby Brown July 13 1941 – May 3, 2011. It is with deep sadness and grief that we announce that Bobby died this afternoon, Tuesday May 3, after a 10 week battle with pancreatic cancer. We are devastated by the sudden and aggressive nature of this illness. Visitation was held on Wednesday May 11 and Thursday May 12 from 2-4 and 6-9 at Turner and Porter, 2180 Hurontario Street (just north of QEW) in Mississauga 905-279-7663. We are very thankful to the incredible staff at Ian Anderson Hospice for their gracious and loving support and care of Bobby. We appreciate your love and prayers as we are struggling with this news.

In 2010 Bobby issued a special invitation to Colin Dewar and Judi Nicholson to play with him in Canada for the first time. Bobby was delighted to have the kinship of two fine players sharing the stage and every night after dances they played in the party room til the wee sma' hours! It looks like you may be having problems playing this video.

The Cape Breton accent is a group of variants of Canadian English spoken on Cape Breton Island, a large island on the north-eastern coast of the province of Nova Scotia in Canada, comprising about one-fifth of the province's area and about one-seventh of the population. Most of the inhabitants of European ancestry descend from people long resident on the island, and the community has had time to develop a local dialect

You may want to check your brakes before heading to Cape Breton as the world-renown Cabot Trail, with its dramatic coastal views and highland scenery, can be rather steep.
